Samuka Dunnoh when he honored an invitation at the Kakaka Intellectual Forum or KAIF to speak on the topic: &#8220;The workings of the Ministry of Public Works in alignment with the agenda of the Unity Party.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was giving detail information about engagements by the ARREST Agenda for Inclusive Development (AAID) relative to road connections in the country when gave the assurance that before December of 2025, there will be no potholes in Monrovia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said: &#8220;In Monrovia City Center, we&#8217;re going to make sure before we reach December this year, there will not be potholes in Monrovia. If some of you can follow the media, I just signed the first contract this gone Friday. I signed the contract, we start patching.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the Minister, after Paynesville City, the rehabilitation will go to Neport Street, Benson Street and other traditional streets in Monrovia and from Gabriel Tucker to Freeport, the road has funding available from the Japanese who will come in September to start the works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The pavement of roads from Freeport to St. Paul Bridge is in progress with speed, he also added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He named several other roads in different regions of Liberia stating that the government is now engaged with about 445.5 kilometers of road under the administration of UP led Government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Margibi County according to Minister Dunnoh who is also\u00a0a resident of Margibi says the county is currently benefiting from 65.7 kilometers of road under the ARREST Agenda of President Joseph Nyumah Boakai, Sr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He explained that the government is providing rigid or cement pavement which is more durable than the asphalt pavement promised by the past administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He bragged that the issue of dust in Kakaka City will become a history in the period of two years. He said the 8.7 kilometers of road currently ongoing in Kakaka will impact BWI to Vai Town, VIP Road, Old and New 14rh Roads, Administrative Building Road, the Catholic Church Road, the Baptist Church Road and the  Old Cassava Market Road amongst others, all in two years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said the procurement processes of a forty kilometers of road from Tappita in Nimba County to Toe&#8217;s Town in Grand Gedeh is being concluded and sent to the World Bank through a biodiversity report awaiting approval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He named an eighty-five kilometers of road from Toe&#8217;s Town to Zwedru around the Ivory Coast Border which he noted that pavement is expected to start November of 2025 as the procurement process is ongoing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zwedru to John David Town 48.5 kilometers of road in Grand Gedeh is expected to start soon as the government is negotiation with the African Development Bank regarding the corridor as well as John David Town to Putubo and Kiloken 61.5 kilometers of road which a discussion is being held about the procurement to select a contractor and consultant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The deputy minister talked about the lifting of the debarment from the contractor of Kilebo to Fish Town Road which he put at 20 kilometers. He added that the outstanding payment for the contractor of Ganta to Saclepea road is done and the contractor will ensure that the road remains stable while the pavement
