Senator Nuquay Cautioned Margibians At Ground Breaking<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Margibi County Senator James Emmanuel Nuquay says it is time for development because the elections are over. According to him, people can divide during the political seasons but after the elections, they must coexist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He made the statement at the ground breaking ceremony of a fifty-four thousand United States Dollars (US$54,000) Legislative project in Compound Town, Larkay-ta Township on February 15, 2025. The project is the senior high section of the Larkay-ta Public School which now operates only a junior high division.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program had in attendance, Senator James Emmanuel Nuquay and his team, Clan Chief, Edwin K Naimah, General Town Chief Alfred Cooper and many other local chiefs, Commissioner Martin K Sanegba of Larkay-ta Township and other officials of the township, Representative Emmanuel O Yarh and some members of his team, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Others are the Margibi County Education Officer, Robert Zayzay and his entourage, the contractor head, Thompson Nana and his team, women, men, students and well meaning Liberians from different backgrounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project which already has some of the building materials currently at its implementing site including sand, concrete bricks and crushed rocks, is expected to last for about three (3) months beginning any time soon according to the senator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lawmaker said: “As the county education officer rightly said, we derived two projects with the former CEO, Mr Toe and members of his team. He was very instrumental, he infact brought somebody and we did the drawings for here and for the Farmington Public High School so\u00a0all that we are doing here, we didn’t just envision these projects or you didn’t just ask for it and we decided to come here. When you asked, we went to the county education authority, we worked with them and derived the plan and today I’m happy we are doing the one in Larkay-ta.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I also want to say to you, those of you people that worked with me and those who did not work with me in 2020, the campaign is over, election is long been over, it’s time for development.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said his interactions with the commissioner has given him a mindset that the Commissioner Martin K Sanegba of the Larkay-ta Township seems to be a visionary, progressive and dedicated young man.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He encouraged the the people of Larkay-ta to work closely work with the commissioner and all other people who want to carry development in the area including him. “When it’s time for politics, we can divide but this time now, it’s time for development.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said in the history of his developments in the county, he does not like to do ground breaking because he does not like publicity about what he intends to do but what he has already done, adding that the ground breaking ceremony of the Larkay-ta Public School senior high division has become a matter of must for him because the protocol dictated that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He told the people of Larkay-ta, especially his campaign team there in 2020 that the project does not just reflect his commitment made in 2020 but is also done to make them proud in the area for championing his cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He noted that he has observed the need for development being craved for by the people in the Larkay-ta Township where he is also currently building the annex of the clinic which was requested by the people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He called on the commissioner and his team along with Mr Joseph Mendee to identify places in the area where he can deliver safe drinking water for the people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
