Common symptoms include fever, cough, runny nose, sneezing, sore throat, headache, body aches, and fatigue. High-risk groups are children and students, elderly persons, pregnant women, Individuals with chronic illnesses (such as asthma, diabetes, or heart disease).
Preventive actions include seeking medical attention if you develop these flu-like symptoms and wearing a mask when around others. Stay home when sick to prevent transmission. Wash hands regularly with soap and clean water. Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing. Disinfect frequently touched surfaces. Avoid crowded and poorly ventilated areas. Government’s response includes enhanced surveillance in health facilities.
