The Liberia National Police, Margibi County Detachment has arrested three persons with dangerous narcotic substances in the county.
The three persons according to the Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) in the county, Patrick B. Kormazu, were arrested at about 7am on Tuesday.
Commissioner Kormazu disclosed that the three persons were arrested in the Sugar Hill community with Marijuana fixed into Juice, Candy, and smoking substance amongst others.
He named them as Beatrice Johnson, age 55, Abraham A. Kollie, age 36, and Kaymah Johnson, age 36 respectively.
The Margibi Assistant Commissioner of Police further said the arrest was made during the execution of a search and seizure warrant obtained from the Kakata Magisterial Court.
Among the three, it is reported that two (Kaymah Johnson and Abraham A. Kollie) are expected to get married on Saturday, January 24, 2025 in Kakata. It is also reported that they have been into drugs business for a long period of time.
The three have however, been sent to the Liberia Drugs Enforcement Agency (LDEA) Margibi Detachment to be processed and forwarded to Court for prosecution.
