Following the recent arrest of three dangerous men who were arrested by the authority of Dillion Farm in the Larkay-ta Township of District number 4, Margibi County for their involvement into the abuse of a dead body in her grave in the Samokai Town located in the same region, the Town Chief of Dillion Farm says the place is not a bad place and they are not also bad people as it is being insinuated by some of the people.
The men (Harrison Binda, James Flomo and Joseph Dolo) who are now incarcerated at the Kakaka Central Prison in Margibi County were charged with the crimes abuse of corpse and property theft after stealing clothes, shoes and jewelries that Ma Sianneh Ndorbor was buried with. They also cut off her private part.
One of them admitted to the commission of the crimes and linked the other two. They were arrested in Dillion Farm by the Chief, Francis S Massaquoi who further turned them over to the police with the help of the other local authorities of Larkay-ta Township.
After this incident, a lot of people who assume them to be residents of Dillion Farm have since branded the place as a very dangerous place, describing the people there as bad people.
The men who are from BKT, Yarnwullie, and Sackie Gbonmon Town had gone to hustle in the area with the help of some residents of the place that they have relationship with when they committed the inhumane acts against the deceased old lady in her grave on her farm, in Samokai Town in January of 2025.
Their attitudes have stigmatized Dillion Farm, creating fear in the minds of many people about the area. Predicated upon this, Mr. Francis S Massaquoi is encouraging people, mainly people with the negative notion regarding their town not to be afraid of them, pleading with them to relate to Dillion in the manner and form they did before the misfortune.
He also stated: “I’m appealing to each and every one that knows about Dillion Farm to be free with us. Let us be free with each other like before, we are protecting this zone. We don’t want this zone to be a bad zone, that’s why we are protecting this zone. Let the officials of government be freed with us and ordinary people too be freed with us because we are protect everyone in this zone.”
He noted that if they were bad people, they would not have arrested the guys and turned them over to government, even though they (the criminals) did not come from their town.
He called on people to feel relaxed and go to live, do business and interact with the Residents of Dillion Farm, assuring that anything negative will be resisted by them.
