Lofa and Grand Gedeh Counties have emerged as grand finalists of the 2024/2025 national county’s sports meet after defeating Margibi and Maryland Counties in the semifinal rounds of the tournament at Samuel Kanyon Doe’s Sports Complex.
Grand Gedeh won Maryland in penalty kick on Wednesday in extra time on January 29, 2025 and Lofa got victory over Margibi on January 30, 2025 in penalty kick within the extra time of the game.

On Sunday February 2, 2025, in kickball, Grand Kru will challenge Grand Bassa in their grand final game, while Grand Gedeh will take on Lofa County in the football category.
